Syngenta is celebrating its 15th anniversary

Syngenta’s jubilee year is hallmarked by new sunflower and corn hybrids, promising better than ever yields, excellent wheat seeds, complex plant protection product portfolio, expanded Contivo ™ advisory system. The sector's market-leader crop protection company demonstrated its offers in seven cities to more than 1,500 farmers in recent weeks in 2016.

The past two years have been successful on the field of sunflowers. The average yields are good and the prices are favorable – Harmat Ákos, campaign manager of oilseeds. The largest amount in the past ten years, (1.56 million tons) was harvested by the farmers in 2014. The average yield was 2.67 tons. In 2015 1.53 million tons, have grown with an average of 2.5 tons per hectare.
