Red Bull Flying Bach-project is successful

In 2011, the ultimate clash of culture is ready to take centre stage in Europe as the ensemble around Berlin’s four times breakdancing world champions Flying Steps kick off the Red Bull Flying Bach European Tour with dates in Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria and Turkey.

With Red Bull Flying Bach, opera director Christoph Hagel and breakdance legends Flying Steps and have fused b-boying with the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, performing modern dance moves to Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier.

Flying Bach is playing 12 cities in five countries and in some extraordinary locations including the former Chamber of the German parliament, the Alter Plenarsaal in Bonn, Germany, the Concert Hall of the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, the Schiffbau in Zurich – a former shipbuilding centre – Vienna’s famous Burgtheater before heading to Istanbul and Ankara in Turkey.
