A series of bread records in Sepsiszentgyörgy
Within a week record-heavy Székely (potato) bread was baked in Sepsiszentgyörgy, Transylvania for the second time on the occasion of Saint George's day. Diószegi László baker also bakes a surprises for the 50 year old Omega-band that will give a live show on Sunday in the city.
For the traditionally prepared, 107-kilogram bread 80 kgs of flour, 20 kgs potato mash, 40 liters of water, 1.5 kg of yeast and 1 kg of salt was used. The huge bread was baked for seven and a half hours. The record-sized bread will be consecrated on Sunday, than it can be tasted. (MTI)
