Rewe to open Selgros cash & carry in Russia

The first store operates in Kotelniki, around 20 km southeast of Moscow.

 Further the launch of first Selgros
cash & carry store was scheduled for the second quarter of 2008,
postponed to October. Rewe Group, which is already present in Russia
with its Billa supermarket banner, sees potential for between 50 and
70 stores. A second store is scheduled to open in Ryazan in February
next year.
