Migros and SuperMeat agree to produce and distribute cultured meat
Swiss retailer Migros has signed an agreement with Israeli food technology start-up SuperMeat, to speed up the production and distribution of laboratory-grown meat on a commercial scale. Besides joining forces with SuperMeat, Migros recently partnered with Swiss companies Givaudan and Bühler, to establish the Cultured Food Innovation Hub – the goal is a pilot plant for further research and growing cultivated meat.
