Kivircik is the leading Turkish food
caterer, the only one providing sous vide food packaging solutions.
The company operates a new modern plant where 50,000 daily meals are
prepared each day, then delivered to foodservice customers such as
schools, universities, governmental agencies, health centers and
various industrial canteens. The meals are composed of a choice of
soupsmain and side dishes, as well as sauces and desserts. Cooked
under vacuum, then pasteurized to ensure optimal preservation, these
ready meals are re-heated at the customer’s facilities.

The Delivaturk business is expanding
fast and meeting with increasing success. It is now considering
purchasing an additional Cryovac® VPP machine targeting to double
their production to 100,000 daily meals in 2009.

The owner-managers are also looking to
expand geographically, by establishing a new production plant in
Dubai to serve Middle Eastern countries. Also, retailing
opportunities such as Cash & Carry may be envisaged thanks to the
Sealed Air networking with local food retailers.
