Schwarzenegger, SodaStream Call To Fight Plastic
Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger has teamed up with SodaStream on an appeal to businesses and consumers to fight the growing threat of plastic waste.
“Plastic waste is one of the biggest global threats, and if we fail to take swift and effective action against the flood of plastic, we will go under. It is an important task and challenge to teach people how to live without plastic”, commented Schwarzenegger.
Announcing the partnership at the R20 Austrian World Summit last week, SodaStream unveiled the ‘Sunken World’ memorial, a monument with a globe sinking in a sea of used plastic bottles.
