Sauvignon Blanc has become the city wine of Gyöngyös this year
The city wine of Gyöngyös became a 2013 vintage Sauvignon Blanc in 2014. The winning wine was chosen in the scope of a “blind judging” on Friday in Gyöngyös.
At this year’s competition 27 wines of 12 wineries of the Mátra hills took part. The choice fell on a Sauvignon Blanc, but the identity of the producer will be unveiled to the public only on May 23 as part of the National Urban Day wine feast. (MTI)
