After a long time, SAP Hungary is once again bringing together its customers, partners and domestic business technology decision-makers at a professional event in the Várkert Bazaar in Budapest. The aim of the SAP Connect Day Budapest event is to show in a single day how artificial intelligence, the cloud, data platforms and business process modernization are interconnected in the everyday operations of Hungarian companies.

Connect Day Budapest builds on SAP’s digital transformation solutions to create connections between experts, customers and specific business use cases. At the event, SAP Hungary experts will present the latest trends in business digitalization, from cloud-based ERP to AI solutions to supply chain, finance and customer experience innovations.

The event will once again create an opportunity for the domestic SAP ecosystem to meet in person. The program comes at a time when companies are no longer looking for just digitalization projects, but for connected solutions that simultaneously increase operational efficiency, improve the quality of decision-making, and create tangible business value. SAP Connect Day Budapest focuses on this approach: it promises not just a theoretical technology demonstration, but practical answers to real business questions. Thus, throughout the day, participants can learn how SAP solutions can be translated into results through live demonstrations, customer case studies and roundtable discussions, as well as direct professional meetings.

SAP Hungary does not build the event around a single product or technology, but brings together all critical areas of corporate operations. The six thematic sessions embedded between the opening and closing keynotes convey the message that corporate transformation no longer consists of isolated developments, but requires coordinated, intelligent operations from HR to customer relations, finance and procurement, to logistics, production and data-driven decision-making.

“It is a particular pleasure for us that we can meet our customers and partners in Budapest in person again after a long time. SAP Connect Day Budapest is not simply an event, but proof that Hungarian companies are open to innovation that creates real business value – be it artificial intelligence, cloud-based modernization, data-driven operations or rethinking business processes”

– said Péter Hidvégi, Managing Director of SAP Hungary.

The conference’s HR-focused presentations show that modern HR already goes far beyond traditional administration. The program explores the HR organization of the future, skills-based operations, the renewal of recruitment and the role of data-driven people analytics. It is clear that HR is now a strategic function: data, organizational flexibility and AI-supported decision-making together shape competitiveness, which is well illustrated by the presentations organized around SAP SuccessFactors solutions.

The program part, built on BTP, Business Data Cloud and artificial intelligence, shows how data silos can be broken down, systems integrated and AI incorporated into real business decisions. Examples of automation, intelligent agents and large domestic companies emphasize that AI is no longer a vision of the future, but a working, measurable business capability.

The Spend Management content also confirms that the role of procurement and cost management has risen to a strategic level: AI-based decision support, supplier risk management and transparent processes are key for all large companies. The program also demonstrates all this through concrete implementation and operational experiences.

In the Manufacturing and Supply Chains section, presentations bring the AI-driven, data-based operation of logistics, warehouse management, demand planning and field services closer. Customers and SAP experts bring tangible stories about how real-time data, intelligent forecasts and automated support simultaneously increase accuracy, flexibility and company resilience.

The ERP–Finance–BTM block focuses on how modern ERP becomes an active engine of financial and operational decision-making. The topics combine financial transparency, corporate governance renewal and technological innovation, and convey the message that business control and innovation are now part of the same strategy. The S/4HANA transitions of large organizations are just as much a part of the section as the S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations of medium-sized companies.
