Spar Austria Announces Own-Label Range Focused On Domestic Agriculture
Spar Austria has announced that it is to launch a new private-label line showcasing local producers on the packaging, as it seeks to promote domestic agriculture.
Five Austrian beekeepers will be the first local producers to feature on a range of honey sold at Spar, Eurospar, and Interspar stores across the country.
The beekeepers are working closely with Spar Austria on launching the new range of honey, which is a 100% regional product sourced from Burgenland, Weinviertel and southern Styria.
The retailer plans to extend the range and showcase many more domestic farmers and producers on its products.
