Rosemary plum cake won the “Sugar Free Cake of Hungary” contest
The winning cake of the “Sugar Free Cake of Hungary” contest announced by the One Drop Foundation was made with nuts, rosemary, prunes and oatmeal . The challenge for hobby pastries won by Szász Kinga.
No white flour and added sugar can be found in the rosemary plum cake it has a low calorie and carb content, so it can be safely be inserted to a diabetic's diet.
At the competition, the contestants presented their creations on September 12 in the Academy Golf Budapest Golf Club. Among the crreations, Szász Kinga’s rosemary plum cake won the contest. The winner 24-slice cake contains 14.4 grams of carbohydrates and 174 kCal per slice.
