Lipóti bakery made it to the best 111 from nearly 15,000 firms that entered the European Business Award competition. Owner Péter Tóth’s intention is to take part in the competition next year as well. J 70-year-old American master franchise Dairy Queen International is looking for business partners in Hungary. At the end of January the company’s vice-president travelled to Hungary to start negotiations with prospective partners. J At the award ceremony of the Hungarian Franchise Association a McDonald’s franchise partner, István Komondi was named franchisee of the year. Mr Komondi employs nearly 200 people in his Keszthely, Zalaegerszeg and Sopron units.
