More money spent in Hungary by foreigners

The number of foreign visitors in Hungary was 7.6 million in the first quarter of 2008, which represents an increase of one per cent. Foreigners spent a total of 16 million days in Hungary in the above period. Total spending by foreign visitors in Hungary was up by 13 per cent, reaching HUF 188 million. Hungarians travelling abroad spent HUF 134 billion in the same period. Visitors staying in Hungary for several days spent a total of HUF 106 billion on tourist services.
