British scientists would print groceries from insect flour
Dung beetles and ants may represent a solution to the problems of food supply in the future – said British scientists who have developed a special three-dimensional printing process to produce delicious snacks from insects.
According to Ken Spears, food tecnician of the London South Bank University, developer of the new technology, the insect diet – which is a common practice in many parts of the world – would not only solve the food shortage problem, but would also to ensure that people to receive sufficient protein and minerals.
