Insect larvae against fungal waste
Bio-Fungi Kft. and the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) have teamed up for a special cooperation. As part of this, they used insect larvae to recycle large quantities of compost and other waste from mushroom cultivation. Insect protein can be used in mushroom cultivation. The active ingredients in the compost are concentrated in the resulting waste material, which is good for reducing fertiliser use. //
