Insect protein in Nestlé Purina pet food
Nestlé’s Purina brand is launching a pet food range with products made using insects, as the food group is testing more environmentally sustainable protein sources. The Purina Beyond Nature’s Protein line will be available in two versions: one using chicken, fava beans and protein from black soldier fly larvae, and another made with chicken, pig’s liver and millet.
