British school meals are worse than ours?
Martha Payne’s blog NeverSeconds attracted more than two million hits worldwide as the schoolgirl posted photographs of the pathetic meals she was offered and rated them. The popularity of the blog, which was set up six weeks ago, has also helped the young campaigner to improve meals in her school as well as raising more than £2,000 for a healthy eating charity.
But the little girl, from Argyll, has been forced to shut down the blog after officials banned her from bringing a camera into school because of a “headline in a newspaper”.
