The economic sentiment in the euro area and in the EU decreased in October
The economic sentiment in the euro area and in the EU decreased in October – according to the data of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG EcFin). The indicator increased the most in Hungary in October.
The European Commission’s Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) decreased in the euro area from the 110.9 points of the previous month by 1.1 points to 109.8 points.
The ESI in the euro area in October was already the tenth month’s decline. Analysts expected a slight lower decrease: 110.0 points for October. (MTI)
