Sentix’s eurozone investor sentiment index deteriorated in February
Instead of the expected improvement, the Sentix Economic Research Institute’s euro area investor sentiment index deteriorated in February. The survey also showed a deterioration in the assessment of the current situation and outlook, and concluded that the euro area economy is lagging behind the rest of the world.
The February investor sentiment index fell 1.5 points to 0.2 points from 1.3 points in January, instead of the 1.9 points expected by analysts.
The index showed a positive value for the first time since January last year, in February this year. (MTI)
