Consumer confidence deteriorated in July in the eurozone and the EU
Consumer confidence in the eurozone and the European Union deteriorated in July, according to a preliminary flash estimate released by the European Commission on Thursday.
In the eurozone, the consumer confidence index decreased by 1.1 points to minus 4.4 points in July. Analysts expected an improvement of minus 2.5 points after minus 3.3 points in June, which was the highest since January 2018. (MTI)
