Creditworthiness in decline
According to an analysis prepared by Coface Hungary, the number of insolvency procedures increased by 24 per cent last year, which means that 3.7 per cent of businesses had become bankrupt in 2007, but for some sectors, this figure is 6-7 per cent. Only 40,000 out of one million business enterprises can be regarded as creditworthy and only less than one third of business enterprises recorded an increase in revenues.
