The number of tourists has increased in Romania by 15 percent in the first half of the year
In the first half of the year, the number of tourists in Romania increased by about 15 percent, compared to the same period of the last year – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Monday.
4.024 million tourists visited the commercial accommodations, 14.5 percent more than the 3.513 million tourists registered in the first half of last year. More than three-quarters of the tourists were domestic tourists, while the proportion of foreigners was 24.2 percent. (MTI)
