Another case of swine fever has been reported in Romania
The Romanian Veterinary Authority has detected the virus of African swine fever (ASF) in one of the domestic pig farms in the village of Hegyközkovácsi in Romania. A part of the 10-kilometer observation area that is due to this case extends to Hungary – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced on Friday.
As the 10-kilometer observation area affects certain areas of Hajdú-Bihar county, the Hungarian authority imposed restrictions on the outskirts of Nagykereki and Kismarja settlements. (MTI)
