Food consumption in Romania decreased by one-tenth
Massive job losses have occurred in the past year, after food consumption in Romania decreased by 10 percent.
The Romanian food industry thoroughly felt the crisis over the past twelve months: after turnover dropped by 10 percent, among the 170 thousand workers of the industry, 15 thousand people became unemployed. The greatest extent of forced redundancies were in the meat, sweets and the soft drink industry – reports Magyar Nemzet Online, after kronika.ro.
