The number of tourists in Romania increased, but fewer foreigners arrived last year
In Romania, the number of tourists increased by 3.6 percent last year, but the number of foreigners decreased by 4.1 percent.
The number of guest nights spent by all guests was 5 percent higher than a year before – the Romanian National Institute of Statistics announced on Monday.
In 2019, 3.6 percent more, 13,268 million domestic and foreign visitors visited commercial accommodations, who spent 5 percent over 29,870 million guest nights. (MTI)
