The number of guest nights increased by 6.7 percent this year in Romania
In Romania, 20,874 million guest nights were recorded at tourist accommodation establishments in the first eight months, 6.7 percent more than in the same period of last year – according to the Romanian National Institute of Statistics.
Guest nights by Romanian tourists increased by 8.7 percent to 17,294 million, while the number foreign guest nights fell by 2.3 percent to 3,579 million.
The number of guests at commercial accommodations increased by 4.9 percent to 9.137 million. The number of domestic guests increased by 7.8 percent to 7,317 million. (MTI)
