Retail sales grew 5.3 percent in January in Romania
According to raw data, the volume of retail sales in Romania increased by 5.3 percent in January, compared to a year before, the Romanian National Statistics Institute said on Friday.

Romanian retail started the year well
Seasonally and calendar-adjusted, growth is up 9.5 percent.
The increase, according to raw data, was mainly due to fuel sales, which grew by 8.2 percent, sales of non-food products grew by 6 percent, while sales of food, beverages and tobacco products grew by 3.1 percent. (MTI)
