The number of guest nights increased by 45 percent in the first eight months in Romania
In Romania, the number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodation increased by 45 percent to 14.733 million in the first eight months, compared to the same period last year, the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Friday.
Compared to the same period of last year, tourists spent 10.163 million guest nights. In the first eight months of 2019, 20.874 million guest nights were recorded, which means a 30 percent decline in 2021 compared to the period before the coronavirus pandemic. (MTI)
