Retail sales increased by 12.4 percent in the first eight months in Romania
In Romania, according to raw data, the volume of retail sales increased by 12.4 percent in the first eight months of this year, compared to the same period of last year, the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Wednesday.

Romanian retail production shows double-digit growth
The expansion was 11.2 percent seasonally and calendar-adjusted.
The increase, according to raw data, was mainly due to non-food products, whose sales volume increased by 18.7 percent, fuel sales increased by 13 percent, while from food, beverages and tobacco products 5.6 percent more was sold. (MTI)
