The tablet market is growing rapidly
Consumers are increasingly looking for cheap tablet computers, which slows down the already low demand for PCs – the American Gartner market research company told.
Gartner estimates that the general public and the business sector this year will spend 666 billion USD for IT devices such as smart phones, tablets PCs, printers and personal computers. That is about 50 billion USD less than the earlier estimate. The reduced amount still means a 6.3 percent growth, compared to the datas of 2012, even though most of this is attributable to currency exchange rate effects. For the forthcoming years Gartner expects an average growth rate of 4.5 percent, lower than the previously indicated 6.4 percent. (tozsdeforum.hu)
