Robots for sustainable food production
Belgian and Dutch universities, research institutes, robotics and machine-building companies have launched a project called CIMAT, which aims to create multifunctional and small-scale robots to improve sustainable, local food production – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
Parallel to the ‘think global, act local’ principle, initiatives that support local producers and encourage them to buy local products not only help consumers find where to buy locally, sustainably produced food in their immediate environment and thus reduce their carbon footprint.
