Lánchíd Klub, the Brands Association and everybody else is co-operating in working out a new agreement for the future of th e Hungarian food sector. Some encouraging news has been released about an ÉFOSZ initiative recently, but some of their ideas remain problematic: for example, the proportion of Hungarian products on shelves should be boosted to 80 percent almost immediately and private labels should be sold for not less than 80 percent of the price of the leading brand in a specific category. Rather than inventing regulations, food producing enterprises should focus on joining forces and producing constant quality and quantity. Business should be based on fair bargaining and concluded in writing like it has always been since Phoenician times. Proletariat of the world unite! But not here, please!
