Strudel Festival will be held this weekend in Mesztegnyő

The traditional strudel festival will be held this weekend in Mesztegnyő, Somogy county, where in addition to a strudel baking competition, a number of colorful programs, including rope pulling will await the visitors.

The festival revives the traditions of strudel making. The visitors can taste the cottage cheese, poppy seeds, cabbage, fruit, nut and special strudel variations at the festival – the organizers told MTI.

The accompanying programs contain outdoor sheep cooking, live music, dancing, arts and crafts street fair, exhibition of vintage cars and motorbikes as well. (MTI)
