A high number of entries at the regional pálinka competition

A total of 346 pálinka entries arrived from seven counties (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Hajdú-Bihar, Heves, Nógrád, Pest, Jász-Nagykun Szolnok, and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg), to the 3rd Regional Pálinka Competition of Onga received but entries arrived from Budapest, Kecskemét and from Slovakia as well.

The 42 pálinkas were distilled in 42 different distillerries. The 13 membered jury gave 19 gold, 68 silver and 71 bronze degrees.
The ceremony will be accompanied by a series of cultural programs, on the 21st of January 2012 at the primary school and a community center of Onga – writes haon.hu.
