Plenty of small shops have closed in the past 10 years
Over the past decade, more than 26 thousand small shop were bankrupted, however turnover increased per shop and per square meter. Of course, the number of large department stores increased – the blokkk.com wrote.
In the last decade, between 2005-2016. the Hungarian store, department store retailing changed a lot. The number of sales outlets fell by more than 26 thousand, now their number is under 130 thousand (excluding the gas stations and car dealerships). At the same time, the number of large stores increased, both in food and manufactured goods trade. (bokkk.com)
