MÁV and the logistics industry have agreed on regular consultations so that carriers and principals can prepare in time for the restrictions expected due to the renovations, the Association of Hungarian Logistics Service Centers (MLSZKSZ) told MTI on Friday.
According to the summary of the MLSZKSZ, almost 1,600 kilometers of railway sections and approximately 1,100 kilometers of expressways may undergo improvements and renovations by 2030. The affected railway lines include the country’s busiest railway section, the Budapest Southern Ring Railway, the Miskolc line, several railway sections in the Debrecen area, and the
The Gubacsi bridge is also crucial for reaching Csepel Freeport. In addition, the Budapest-Belgrade railway line is being built, and the construction of the V0 bypassing the capital can begin. The “levelling” renovations that began in recent years will continue on the expressways, as well as the expansion of the M1, M7 and M3 highways, along with several other investments.
