Exceptional consultations on the domestic pig industry

Until 29 August, the government will carry out the decision in order to improve the situation of the pork industry players on the basis of the joint proposal of the Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of Rural Development – the Government Spokesperson Office announced on Tuesday after the discussion of the sector’s participants and the representatives of the government.

According to the communication, at the meeting, the parties agreed that the operation of the pork industry is vital to the rural economy, and to the preservation of traditional values. Everything must be taken to retain as many jobs as possible, to preserve and continue to support new job-creating initiatives. (MTI)
