PENNY helps its employees with extraordinary employee benefits
As Christmas approaches, PENNY supports all its active employees with HUF 60,000 net, the amount is transferred to the employees’ SZÉP card at the beginning of November, at the same time as the October wages are paid. The amount of support for around five thousand workers is close to HUF 300 million net.
In a circular letter, PENNY informed its employees that it is thanking them for their commitment and dedicated work in the difficult economic situation of the past period with a one-time, extraordinary benefit. The company’s management decided on the remuneration in consultation with the Commercial Employees’ Union, taking into account the possibilities provided by the legislation. The amount of the support is HUF 60,000 net per employee, which will be credited to the employees’ SZÉP card accounts at the same time as the October 2023 payroll and the salary transfer at the beginning of November.
“For PENNY, it is extremely important to strengthen the long-term commitment of employees, and therefore the company uses all available opportunities. This is also shown by the significant HUF 3.6 billion wage improvement implemented at the beginning of the year, which we will supplement with this one-time benefit as the holidays approach. PENNY is proud that its complex benefits package is outstanding compared to domestic market conditions”
– said Eszter Kazatsay, head of communications at PENNY in Hungary.
