An unusual press conference about CEBIT and Hannover Messe

The unusual press conference / meetup of the Hungarian representation of Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG) was held on 5 December 2018 in the city center. The theme of the event was primarily the CEBIT-related changes and the Hannover Messe, which took over the CEBIT’s position.

The performance of Pierre-Oliver Quellmann (DMAG) Director of HANNOVER MESSE’s Digital Factory demonstrates that the issue of recurring visitor numbers and the thematic overlap between HANNOVER MESSE and CEBIT has led to the decision. As a result of the technological developments typical in the digital economy, the demand for CEBIT-like horizontal exhibitions has decreased in recent years.
