The New York Times offers an unusual Budapest city tour
The Sunday travel annex of the New York Times offers a sightseeing route, that perfectly ignores the traditional sights of Budapest.
Evan Rail who compile the 36-hour program advices to start the sightseeing on Friday afternoon at five at the Tisza shoes shop in the Károly Boulevard, where the tourist can buy famous Hungarian footwear, now regarded as souvenir.
The next stop he recommends is the Wine-kitchen in the Sas street offering Günzer kadarka beside the trout or steamed mangalica.
For Saturday he recommends the boutiques of the 5th district, dinner in the Onyx, and evening in the Anker Klub or Corvintető.
For Sunday morning, before the departure he purposes to visit the Culinaris restaurant – reports MTI.
