The SIRHA BUDAPEST, Central and Eastern Europe’s most significant international food industry and HoReCa trade exhibition, will take place from March 3 to 5, 2026 for the seventh time, welcoming professionals to the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center!

Within the framework of the exhibition, the Future Store – the Store of the Future – will once again be organized on more than 800 sqm, by Trade magazin, at stand 301A in Pavilion “A”.
Visitors can explore the stand through guided tours every half hour, during which the exhibiting companies of the Future Store will personally present their latest innovations.

In 2026, the Future Store will once again showcase the market’s latest, pre-launch product developments, innovative equipment solutions, and services. Sales areas, hot spots, on-the-go, checkout zones, convenience and HoReCa areas will be presented as a complete concept with trendy innovations, many of which visitors will encounter here for the first time. Innovations from both staffless and staffed units will be featured, with a focus on data-driven solutions and specialized technologies related to the increasingly important customer experience, as well as product innovations and the latest point-of-sale communication solutions.

START-UP ISLAND

Trade magazin’s new program, launched in 2024, will continue in 2026 with its professional partners. Alongside the Future Store, a START-UP ISLAND will be created, where, according to plans, more than a dozen start-up companies will be able to introduce themselves and exhibit free of charge! From among the applicants, a professional jury will select those companies that have started their journey as the most promising enterprises in the FMCG market, or in related fields, within the past 5 years.

SIRHA Innovation Competition 2026

At the invitation of and in cooperation with Hungexpo, Trade magazin will once again organize the SIRHA Innovation Competition in 2026. Only registered exhibitors of SIRHA Budapest 2026 may apply for the competition with products, services, technological innovations, or packaging solutions introduced since the previous exhibition. Applications can be submitted immediately after exhibition registration. The entries awarded podium positions by the professional jury in each category will be presented to visitors in a dedicated exhibition area. The award ceremony will take place during the opening event.
