Hopefully there will not be yield losses in case of corn
Hopefully there will be yield losses in case of corn as heat has stopped – the president of the National Association of Grain Producers (GOSZ) told MTI on Thursday.
Vancsura József added that the long-term, high summer heat can cause losses in maize crops, but now the heat wave is over.
According to the original expectations an up to 9 million tonnes of maize can be produced this year.
The President of GOSZ stated that the exact crop yields will become final only after the corn harvest. (MTI)
