Only good or average yield is expected in the orchards

Instead of the previously indicated record yield, just good or average crop is expected in the Hungarian orchards, mainly due to last week's weather – Mártonffy Béla, FruitVeB president told MTI on Wednesday.

The president of the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organisation said that the damages are asessed in the orchards right now and are expected to end with it by the end of the month or by the beginning of June. The total harvest estimates can be expected by this time. (MTI)
