A record number of tourists visited Japan
A record number of tourists visited Japan in the second quarter of this year, which was partly justified by the weakening of the yen.
According to the Japanese National Tourism Organization of (JNTO), 7.2 million foreigners visited the country by the end of June, which is 22 percent higher than a year earlier.
The number of foreign tourists increased partly due to an increase in the price of USD from 100 to 112 yens on average. (MTI)
