A record number of tourists visited Scottish whiskey distilleries last year
A record number of tourists visited the Scottish whiskey distilleries last year – according to the data reported on Wednesday.
The number of visitors reached 1.9 million, which is an increase of 11.4 percent, compared to 2016 -the Scotch Whiskey Association told. Tourists also spent much.
The revenues of the visitor centers increased by 15.6 percent to 60.9 million pounds (22 billion HUF). (MTI)
