Lidl’s wine sales set a record last year

Lidl sold thirty million bottles of wine last year
The announcement recalled that in 2014, the company sold a further 6 million bottles of wine together domestically and abroad.
The department store chain delivered 7.8 billion HUF worth of Hungarian wines to foreign markets last year; the value of beverages sold has increased by almost 56 percent in the past two years. 36 percent of all Hungarian bottled wine exports were handled by Lidl, thus maintaining Hungary’s largest wine exporter title, the company said.
