Hungarian agricultural exports to Germany may break a record
The Hungarian agricultural exports to Germany and Hungary’s agri-trade surplus may rise to heights never seen before.
According to the statistics of the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI), agricultural exports to Germany amounted to 752.2 million euros by the end of August, which is a 8.6 percent increase, compared to the 693 million euros of the end of August 2012. The value of imports increased by 1.9 percent to 595 million euros. The balance surplus increased by 44.8 percent over the year to 157 million euros, in the January-August period. (MTI)
