A record amount of toll was paid last year
Six percent more, a total of gross 315 billion HUF toll was paid to the National Road Payment Service Provider (NÚSZ) last year, and the company achieved a new revenue record – the company’s CEO told at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.
Bartal Tamás justified the rising revenues with the increase in turnover, which is in line with the strengthening of the economy.
He said that in the past five and a half years, the toll provider earned a total of almost 1,500 billion HUF, which is a direct budget revenue that the country can spend on developing the road network. He emphasized that, in terms of sales, the NÚSZ is among the first five public companies. (MTI)
