Record high increase in shipments of mobile phones in China in February
China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s scientific center, the Information and Communication Research Institute (CAICT), said on Tuesday that 21 million 760,000 devices were shipped in February, 241 percent more than a year before. Within this, the number of smartphones shipped increased by 237 percent to 21 million 340,000, with 5.07 million shipped 5G mobile devices shipped, 69.3 percent more than a year before. (MTI)
