The Czech Budvar brewed a record amount of beer last year
The Czech Budvar brewery brewed a record amount, 1.424 million hectoliters of beer in 2013.
On an annual basis this is a 6.2 percent increase, and it is the largest amount in the 118-year history of the Ceske Budejovice-based Brewery – Petr Samec, company spokesman said on Wednesday.
The largest Czech brewery, the Pilsen Prazdroj is expected to release last year’s datas in February, while the third largest brewery, the Heineken will announce them even later. (Kokes János, MTI)
